The first step in the home buying process is to get pre-qualified. You can accomplish this by visiting with a mortgage loan originator, complete the mortgage loan application and provide requested documents, such as paystubs, banks statements, W-2s and tax returns. A pre-qualification letter will be issued once your lender evaluates your income, credit report and available assets to determine the qualifying amount for your home purchase. If you have visited with several lenders this is the time to decide which lender you want to use for your mortgage loan.
Now that you are pre-qualified, it is time to find your home! Your real estate agent will assist with showing you homes within your price range that are available for sale in your area. Here are some suggestions.
Once you have selected your home, we must finalize the loan with our underwriting team. We will order the appraisal and gather needed documentation during this phase. Once all needed documentation is received our underwriting team will issue your Clear to Close and your closing date will be scheduled!
During closing, you will sign all of the mortgage loan documents and the seller will execute the deed to the property. All Funds will be collected and disbursed, and the closing agent will record the necessary instruments to give you legal ownership of the property. At this point, you are given the keys, and you can move in when you are ready! Congratulations!
Thank you so much for everything. You have gone above and beyond in helping us purchase our first home. We are very appreciative of everything you have done, from being our biggest advocate to getting our girls Christmas gifts. Thank you again for guiding us and making this process as smooth as possible. We have our dream home because of you. For anyone looking for help with mortgage loans, we highly recommend Leanne.
